Paschim Bardhaman’s Working President of Trinamool Congress, Uttam Mukhopadhyay has alleged that BJP is trying to garner credit from the peoples’ movement which stalled the disinvestment process in Alloy Steels Plant of Durgapur. CITU Paschim Bardhaman General Secretary Bangshagopal Chowdhury said, “we are hopeful that PM will declare new investment in both Ally Steels Plant and Durgapur Steel Plant for modernisation and capacity augmentation. We also feel that Modiji will also speak positive words of reviving the Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation.”
